Rounding Out the Animal Beers in honor of Zoo Brew week:
Beer Geek Brunch Weasel, Mikkeller; Copenhagen, Denmark – Designed in the style of an Imperial Stout, it pours a deep black, nearly opaque with only a light mahogany seeping through near the edge of the glass; it’s capped by a small white head that leaves a bit of lacing. The aroma is of baker’s chocolate, roasted coffee, and a light sensation of vanilla. Flavors include chocolate, expresso, cherry, and light prunes. Body is medium with a slick and creamy texture. Carbonation is on the low side. Finishes with coffee, chocolate, and alcoholic warmth.
