Cadejo WAPA, Cadejo Brewing Company, San Salvador, El Salvador – Brewed by one of the few craft brewers in the country, WAPA is an acronym for Wheat American Pale Ale which Cadejo (a Spirit Dog) produces in their version of a white pale ale. It sits hazy yellow in the glass with a thin white head Aroma is floral, fruity and citric hops. Flavor includes notes of wheat and malt, grass, low butter (diacetyl), lemon and a balance that favors hops. Carbonation is low to moderate and finishes toward the dry and hoppy side.
