Monster Beverage, a fixture in seemingly every convenience store cooler in the country has longed to get into the alcohol business for well over a year. It appears they’ve finally set their eyes on a target. The company has announced it will acquire CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective, maker of Craft Beers and Seltzers. Affected Breweries include Cigar City (Florida), Oskar Blues (Colorado, North Carolina, Texas), Deep Ellum (Texas), Perrin (Michigan), Squatters and Wasatch (Utah); but not their associated restaurants. The alleged price of purchasing the breweries from Fireman Capital Partners is $ 300 million. Interestingly, the largest shareholder of Monster is Coca-Cola.

Mountain Brewers Beer Fest of Idaho Falls will return on JUNE 4, 2022
