Last night back in 1773, a bunch of the Sons of Liberty members were whooping it up in the Green Dragon Tavern in Boston. As the night wore on the topic turned to their latest target, the Crown’s tax on Tea. Thankfully that tax didn’t interrupt their beer drinking, which later inspired them to thinly disguise themselves as Mohawks, descend upon the piers and throw the un-landed crates of Tea into the Harbor making, as a result, the largest ever Iced Tea. They would have never done that to beer, but Tea was a different matter.
