Pelican Brewing of Oregon revealed the collaboration breweries for this year’s ‘Lone Pelican’ series of beers. The four collaboration breweries are Fort George in Astoria, Beachcrest of Lincoln City, Homegrown from Florence, and Arch Rock of Gold Beach. The first of these beers was the collaboration with Fort George Brewery in the design and execution of an Alder Smoked Stout. 7% ABV and 30 IBUs. Proceeds from sales will be directed to the Clatsop Community Action non-profit, which helps meet housing, food and basic living needs in Clatsop County, Oregon. The beer is available in 500 mL bottles and on draft at the Pelican Pubs.
