On November 10, 1775, in Philadelphia’s Tun Tavern, Beer witnessed the formation of the United States Marine Corps. Since then this day has been celebrated as the Marine Corps Birthday. Wish a Happy Birthday to your favorite Marine, better yet, if possible, buy him a beer in memory of Tun Tavern.
