The British government declared that the amount of beer in a pint must be no less than 95% liquid. This represented a raise from the previous minimum level of 90%. Calculations revealed the difference of 5% resulted in consumers benefitting from an additional 60 million pints, or about 4 pints per beer drinker. Cheers!
