Simba Stout – Simba Brewing; Durg, Chhattisgarh, India: A deep ebony colored-beer, with a mahogany head, this beer presents assertive roasty flavors of espresso, but then yields to a caramel/toffee and cocoa sweetness. Body is moderate. Finish tends to the roasty side but avoids any harsh bite. Simba Stout is actually India’s first bottled craft stout.
