Last Friday (July 29th) a Beaver calmly walked into the Yew Tree Pub in Norton Canes, Staffordshire, England. Strolling through the Bar, it headed out the rear door and into the Beer Garden. Beavers, extinct in the UK for over 400 years, have only been reintroduced to the country in the last decade, but none were released anywhere near the Pub. If a Beaver is confident enough to seek out a pint, it must be a sure sign the reintroduction program is a success.

There have been no Beavers sightings at Zoo Brew but there are a couple of frisky River Otters; stop by at 5 p.m. on August 12th grab some Beers to enjoy.
