On this day in 1998, Leinenkugel’s Brewery of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Released a special labeling to celebrate the wedding of John and Candice Leinenkugel. Five years after opening, the Chuckanut Brewery will begin a $ 2.5 million expansion for bottling and canning at their Port of Skagit, Washington facility, North of Seattle. A regular winner at the North American Beer awards and International Beer Awards the project will double the brewery’s footprint and increase production from 4,000 to 8,000 barrels a year.
