Constellation Brands announced it has sold its Ballast Point brand and associated breweries to Kings and Convicts of Chicago. Originally Constellation bought Ballast Point for 1 Billion (with a B) with annual sales of about 400,000 barrels. That production has dropped more than half and the reported sale to the Chicago group is rumored to be a mere 100 Million.
